IMPORTANT SITE NEWS

Hey gang, Bill here. I'm still having major issues with my scanner. I can't get my quality back. So, here's what's up. For the next week I'm going to keep working on comics (I've got a couple stashed away) and HTML and various other things so that, when I get my scanner running again (CURSE YOU VISTA!!!) we can have a revamped site with comics bursting at the seams. I'm really sorry gang, and thanks for your support, but it's just gonna have to wait a bit longer. Hang in there, though. I'm working as fast as I can. Later days!

I wish we could afford stunt doubles for this sort of shit. I really really do. *sigh*

NEWS

May 7, 2008: Damn. So close and yet... A big storm blew through tonight while I was at work and knocked out the power. I had my computer on and, of course, Vista being as crazy as it is, is now somewhat messed up because it didn't shut down properly. Now, my scanner isn't working. *sigh* Hopefully I can fix the problem tonight and get another comic up tomorrow night, but for now I'm afraid you'll just have to be patient. At least it's only a day. Just a day! Wish me luck.

May 6, 2008: Woot! Two in a row! This one took longer than I thought it would. I'm just getting done with it and the clock tells me its nearly six in the morning. However, I think it was worth it. Anyway, keep voting (every 13 hours) and perhaps I'll be motivated to do EVEN MORE stuff. I don't know what, but I probably will be. Later days!
May 5, 2008:So, uh, I guess the comic pretty much explains everything about my absence. Nice, eh? Anyways, this is the start of something. I will be updating five days a week. Why? Cause I want to. I LOVE to drawn Hometown, and with so many people supporting me recently, I figure it's time I gave something back. This week will be a general five day update. Next week I hope to have finished the extras I'm working on; cast page, the introduction comics, and just a few fun things here and there. Vote, please, cause I'd like this to succeed and it really is cool when I see that people vote for my stupidity. Yes, I'm a friggin' vote whore. LOVE ME INTERNETS!!!!! Later days.
February 5, 2007: Well, I've been away for a while. Long story short, I was lazy and then my computer crashed and I literally couldn't make the comics we all love so much. I say we all, but I mean like the six people who bug me about it, but hey, who's couting? Oh, right, Buzzcomics and Top Web Comics. GO VOTE for the love of Pete or I'll start drawing kittens! Kittens on fire! Dustin can help with reference pics... *sigh* That reminds me, I'm due in court next week. *double sigh*. Later days!
October 18, 2007: Not much to say today. Things are goin' well, and the comics are still on their way. Let me know if you like this format or want something else in the way of the site. All comments can be posted at the Myspace account. Later days!!!
October 16, 2007: And we're back! Sorry, but the past two weeks have been most tiring and busy. I haven't had a chance to do much more but experiment with some HTML and do a few doodles. Anyway, I got rid of the frames cause I didn't like 'em, and I make big comics that don't lend themselves well to such small spaces. The voting buttons are at the top and my bloggy thingy thing is right where its always been and it will probably stay until I learn PHP or some other new thing that makes the site look better than it does now. Keep voting, keep reading, and I'll keep making the funny. Later days.
October 2, 2007: Alrighty, boys and girls; we're back on schedual. Only one for today, cause I don't have a lot of time or energy. Its homecoming this week at the high school I work at, so I'm extra busy and tired when I get done at work. I'll TRY to update everyday this week, but I can't make any promises other than I WILL post at least two comics. Remember, now is the time to vote for the comic, since the votes are set back to zero. Thanks for everything!!
September 27, 2007: Sorry kids, but I had a monster day at work. I almost didn't get out on time. Look for a double update Saturday. More of How I Spent My Summer Vacation and Jess' special Birthday comic. That's right, Jess' birthday is today. If you see a fat, long haired hippy with girlish tendancies and a Lewis Black attitude, tell him happy birthday. He's 501 today.

September 25, 2007: Sorry, but better late than never. Though, nobody really noticed. I wonder why that is? Oh well. Guess I'll just have to pimp it out more. Anyway, there'll be three updates this week. Today, Thursday and Saturday. Thursday is Jess and my birthday, so there'll be a special comic just for him to cheer him up. I turn 30 this year. He turns 65. Doesn't he look good for a senior citizen? Anyway, keep voting and enjoy!!!

September 22, 2007: Okay, so here's the new look. That's right kids, FRAMES. Oooooo. It took some time to get it just right, but this is how the site will run from now on. This way you at least have a chance to read and none of you can say you can't see the vote buttons. So, here's the Drill. Tuesdays and Thursdays I will update regularly, no questions asked. If I get enough votes in a week (30 by Friday), I will update on Saturdays too. Now, the voting isn't SUPER important until October. The the voting sites drop to zero at the beginning of each new month. What that means is that the first week of a month is VERY important for voting. I can get to number 1 for a short time at the beginning of each month. You can vote on each site once a day everyday. That's the important bit. The updates will continue as normal next week, and remember, keep voting! The more famous I am, the more funny I am. And that's the truth.

September 18, 2007: Woo hoo! Right on time kids! I went a different way this time than I had originally planned on. Originally I had planned on doing all my introduction comics and THEN moving on to fun things like this. Instead, I'm gonna put on one intro comic in a different section once per week till they're all done and just keep moving along with the fun comics. This week, you're all in for a treat. On Thursday you'll get the first of an old line my friends and I worked on called "How I Spent My Summer Vacation". My friends and I go off to Colorado on a two week getting back to nature camping trip. Hillarity and disembowlments ensue. On a personal note, thanks to everyone who's kept me going and kept me on track. You keep laughing and voting, and I'll keep drawing them. Now then, if you want to keep in touch with me, or if you want to learn more about what's going on, go to the Myspace page for Hometown. Remember! 20 votes by Friday and I'll put up another comic on Saturday!
